Who needs a mentor?

I've never liked the idea of mentorship.

For starters...

• There are some responsibilities you can't outsource.
• You probably have enough biases of your own;
  don't borrow someone else's.
• Need knowledge?
  Then read a good book instead of asking the most charismatic guy.
• Need advice?
  Ask the opinions of a large, diverse group of experts.
• Need monitoring and supervision?
  No one can do it for you better than yourself!
